Do you see what I see in the above photo?

No, it’s not my friends thinking I was taking a picture of them when I was really taking a pic of the focus of today’s entry.

No, it’s not the stone streets with years of stories it could tell (although that would be cool).

What I see is conflicting. A beautiful place of worship and booths aligned directly in front of it offering to tell you your future.

“Do not go to mediums or wizards for advice—they will only make you unclean. I am the Lord your God.” Leviticus 19:31

Have you heard the saying, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I know WHO holds the future.”? No one knows the future but God. We can make plans, but God will direct our path.

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9

When we want to know what the future will be like, there’s only one we have a glimpse of what it is like…eternity…Heaven or Hell. When we want to know what our earthly future is like, we need to lean on the Lord, trust in Him, have faith, and seek His will. God’s plans are best and full of hope.

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

There are many references in the bible, God’s living word, that reminds us that demons are real. (Please see the websites referenced below. There are a plethora of verses in them.) Evil, Satan, is lurking constantly to not only trip you up, but he aims to steal, kill, and destroy. Only Christ has the purpose to satisfy you beyond what you can even imagine.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10

In the featured photo, there are conflicting scenes. The choice to where you will spend eternity are two conflicting places. One is Paradise where “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:4) And the other is Hell where “those who are cowards, those who refuse to believe, those who do terrible things, those who kill, those who sin sexually, those who do evil magic, those who worship idols, and those who tell lies—they will all have a place in the lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:8)

I want to encourage you to stay away from any type of readings. Read God’s word.

Blessings to you and yours,

Stephanie
