Owls, turkey, deer, oh my!

Sun beams through the trees, a woodpecker singing and pecking at the tree, and butterflies fluttering about, oh my!

These are the delightful creations I get to see while taking my morning walks in my back woods.

Oh my! How marvelous God’s creations are.

Wherever you live, take a few moments and use your God-eyes and ears. See the magnificent works of art that God has placed on this earth for us to care for, observe, and enjoy. You may notice an ant bustling on the sidewalk or see someone opening a door for another at a local coffee shop or diner or hear the laughter of a child. Oh my, how pleasant life can be when we simply put on our God-goggles.

I want to encourage you to be still. Be still in His presence. This world is crazy, but it is also beautiful. Embrace each moment, each hug, each “I love you”, and each text or call from your loved ones.

I want to encourage you to rejoice in others’ successes and be empathetic when others are down. Be still in knowing that you can support one another. That’s encouraging.

Even in the busyness of life, take a deep breath and feel God’s love enveloping you.

Blessings to you and yours,

Stephanie

My path in the woods.

See the owl?

See the doe? She watched me the whole time, then on the third time around she settled down in the swampiness. She had two other deer with her.
