After reading about the vision of the four chariots in verses 1-8 in Zechariah 6, what stuck in my mind was the task at hand and how. The four horses/chariots/spirits went out to do God’s work, and were eager to do so.
Jesus called us to to the same:
- So encourage each other and help each other grow stronger in faith, just as you are already doing. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 ERV
- Help each other with your troubles. When you do this, you are obeying the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 ERV
- Just be sure you live as God’s people in a way that honors the Good News of Christ. Philippians 1:27a ERV
- Just as each one of you has received a special gift [a spiritual talent, an ability graciously given by God], employ it in serving one another as [is appropriate for] good stewards of God’s multi-faceted grace [faithfully using the diverse, varied gifts and abilities granted to Christians by God’s unmerited favor]. 1 Peter 4:10 AMP
- He said to them, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone. Mark 16:15 ERV
I pray that you will be an encourager and grower of faith, a helper to others with their troubles, live in a way that glorifies the Lord, use your gifts for Him, and share Jesus with all. Amen.
The four horses/chariots/spirits went out eagerly to do God’s work. Will you?
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
