For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God. Romans 5:10-11

Reading these words fills me with gratitude, love, and honor. Resurrection Sunday may have passed, but the Resurrection is worth celebrating every day. For some, this truth sparks an urgency to share the deep joy that comes from knowing Jesus. Others are moved by a Sunday service and its message, then return to ordinary routines, attending again on holidays. Many more know only the traditions—chocolate bunnies and baskets—without knowing the life-changing relationship available in Christ.

Let me say it plainly: you are deeply loved. God gave His one and only Son so we could be brought into His presence. Through Jesus you have access to God and the promise of eternal life. Because of His love you can enter into a lasting relationship with the One who is the only way to heaven. More than loved—you are called a friend of God. Hallelujah.

Are you able to say with confidence that you are a friend of God? I pray you’d be overwhelmed by His love and forgiveness and live daily feeling grateful, cherished, and honored to know the Resurrected One.

What an honor it is to be called a friend of God. Oh the joy it brings!

Blessings to you and yours,

Stephanie
