Things in life change. People change. Styles change. Friendships change.
Things in life can also be denied. Credit cards are denied. Jobs and loans are denied. And, yes, relationships can be denied or rejected.
But there is one thing that cannot be denied: your identity and where you come from. Even if you were adopted and never knew your biological parents, their DNA is still part of you.
Jesus was denied, despised, rejected, disrespected, mocked, and so much more—all because of who He was, where He came from, and what He came to do. Yet He willingly endured it all and shed His blood for you so that you could receive eternal life.
When you accept Christ, you are adopted into the family of God. You are chosen, embraced, accepted, and loved by Him. His sacrifice is proof that His love for you is not dependent on your performance or perfection.
As GotQuestions.org explains, “The blood of Christ has the power to atone for an infinite number of sins committed by an infinite number of people throughout the ages, and all whose faith rests in that blood will be saved.”
Jesus became the sacrifice for our sins. His blood represents redemption, forgiveness, grace, mercy, and love.
There is no denying that when you become a child of God—a believer in Jesus Christ—His DNA is woven intricately in you. His love for you will never change. You are sealed by His Spirit and welcomed into His family.
I pray that you will accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. May the shedding of His blood become a lasting reminder of His eternal love for you. Live a life of holiness, because He is holy. Live a life of love, because He is love. Live because He lives. Amen.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
Reflect on your life and His love for you. I pray that others will see Him in you. Reflect Him.
