While your troubles may be big or small, and they may creep up on you to attack you at any moment, run to them and conquer it with God’s power.
The story of David and Goliath intrigues me.  Here you have the baby boy of the family, thought of by his brothers to be a pest, and has the brassy confidence as if he is ten men in one. When I read 1 Samuel 17:1-58, I can just picture David saying, “Let me at ‘em!”
Although David may have approached the scene like a naive yet arrogant youth, he said a powerful speech that let you know that his power did not come from his youthful arrogance, but from God.  Read these words from 1 Samuel 17:45-47, “David said to the Philistine, “You come to me using sword, spear, and javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD All-Powerful, the God of the armies of Israel. You have said bad things about him. 46 Today the LORD will let me defeat you. I will kill you. I will cut off your head and feed your body to the birds and wild animals. And we will do the same thing to all the other Philistines too. Then all the world will know there is a God in Israel. 47 All the people gathered here will know that the LORD doesn’t need swords or spears to save people. The battle belongs to the LORD, and he will help us defeat all of you.”
God is all-powerful. He is strength.  He can conquer all.  You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength. It is not by you to defeat your enemies (troubles) in life.  You must have your confidence in the Lord and trust in Him.  Give your battle to God and allow God to help you defeat it.  Give Him all the glory and power.
