The LOVE month continues…
Three things I LOVE are prayers, babies, and the Lord.
So, I’d like to have you join me in prayer for two precious babies…Liam and Landen.
Liam was born (in December) with a “half-a-heart”. The specific medical terminology is Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Like my husband says, “This child with half of a heart will do great things for God for people’s heart.” AMEN!
Landen is an adorable baby who is suffering a magnitude of neurological injuries due to lack of oxygen to his brain for over four minutes, after an emergency c-section (in January).
Privacy is important to the parents, (that is why I am withholding their names) yet prayers are immeasurably appreciated.
I serve a mighty God who is The Great Physician. He is in the miracle business.
He forgives all our sins and heals all our sicknesses. Psalm 103:3
We do not know the plans that He has for these babies, nor those who encounter them, but God knows. These babies are here for a reason, and may God be given all the glory in the end.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Liam and Landen are warriors! Will you be a prayer warrior with me as we lift them and their families and their caregivers up to the Lord? THANK YOU!
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:10-18
Prayers go up, blessings come down.
Many blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
