Looking at life with a Godly perspective.
Our electric company provides a surge protection system called Zap Cap.  This system is installed near or behind the meter.  The electrician came out to update our system and asked me, “How long has this light been out?” I had no clue, because I wasn’t aware that I needed to pay attention to the light. He showed me where we must have had a surge of electricity try to come through our home, but was saved by the protection system. He informed me that I need to keep my eye on the light and notify the electric company when it goes out.
Well, if you know me you know my mind went to a “God Goggle” moment.
Enjoy today’s motivational video and see where this life experience took me, actually the two applications to our walk with Christ:

We must never stop looking to Jesus.  He is the leader of our faith, and He is the one who makes our faith complete.  He suffered death on a cross.  But He accepted the shame of the cross as if it were nothing because of the joy He could see waiting for Him.  And now He is sitting at the right side of God’s throne. Hebrews 12:2
Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” John 8:12
“You are the light that shines for the world to see.  You are like a city built on a hill that cannot be hidden.  People don’t hide a lamp under a bowl.  They put it on a lampstand.  Then the light shines for everyone in the house.  In the same way, you should be a light for other people.  Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Gather in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
Y’all, God is our Protector. You can go to God Most High to hide. You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.   I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress.  My God, I trust in you.” Psalm 91:1-2
Hey, now you know…pay attention to the light.  Keep your eyes on The Light.
Share The Light.
Be the light.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
