Do you live with or have regrets in your life?

I will never forget your commands, because through them you gave me new life.  Psalm 119:33
“You are the light that shines for the world to see. You are like a city built on a hill that cannot be hidden. In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.  Matthew 5:14,16
Some lyrics to Greater than all my regrets, by Tenth Avenue North:
When the past it comes to haunt me
It tells me what I’ve done
It reminds me what’s gone wrong
When my sins are laid before me
My Lord, You take them on
Yes, my Lord, You take them on
So if I fall and if I fail
I will trust Your mercy is
Greater than all of this
And if I bend and if I break
I’ll trust the hands that hold me are
Greater than all my regrets
You are greater than all my regrets

Father, I know I break Your heart
When I choose my way
When I doubt Your love
But You take me as I am, a child
Yeah, You whisper in my ear
Let’s get up and try again

Judas, the one who betrayed him, realized that Jesus was doomed. Overcome with remorse, he gave back the thirty silver coins to the high priests, saying, “I’ve sinned. I’ve betrayed an innocent man.” They said, “What do we care? That’s your problem!” Judas threw the silver coins into the Temple and left. Then he went out and hung himself.  Matthew 27:3,5
Yes, if you forgive others for the wrongs they do to you, then your Father in heaven will also forgive your wrongs. But if you don’t forgive others, then your Father in heaven will not forgive the wrongs you do.  Matthew 6:14-15
Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.  Ephesians 4:31-32
I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.  Philippians 3:12-14

I pray that you will call on Jesus and give Him all your “ut-ohs”/“darn its”/“I’ve-done-so-wrongs” in life.  He will help you get out of whatever pit you are in.  Remember that you can’t do it alone, but with God…Nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37)
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie

BTW…no regrets about the photo above…just a cool shot I captured of Tim and buds tarpon fishing off the beach, and I just happened to be walking by.  A storm was off in the distance and gave a sweet backdrop.
