As I was scrolling through news titles of happenings across the country that I love, my heart sank.  Instead of continuing through the misery of the current topics of conversations and news media, I chose to share with you something that should make headline news.
You see, although this world is ever changing (good or bad), one thing never changes, God’s love for you and His word.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  Hebrews 13:8  ERV

“I am the Lord, and I don’t change. Malachi 3:6a ERV

No, that’s not the headline news I was going to share, although that’s good stuff right there, and comforting too. I want share the scripture that I woke to this morning:

Lord, your faithful love fills the earth. Teach me your laws.  Psalm 119:64  ERV

The earth, O Lord, is full of Your loving kindness and goodness; Teach me Your statutes.  Psalm 119:64 AMP

Your love, God , fills the earth! Train me to live by your counsel.  Psalm 119:57 MSG

I want you to remember that:  His love, His faithful love, His loving kindness and goodness DOES fill the earth.  Open your eyes and focus on the goodness/godness in your everyday life.
Maybe you heard a baby cry or laugh today, praise God for the sanctity of life and the breath that He gives you each day.
Maybe you went to lunch out somewhere, praise the Lord you have money to purchase food and support businesses.
Maybe you were driving down the road, thank God for the ability to see to drive, focus to steer safely, and provision to own a vehicle.
Maybe, not sure how many did this today, but you were like me and drug the pasture to till the ground.  Not the most pleasant smelling job, but thank God I have land for cattle to roam.
You get the point.
Go put on your God-goggles, look up to the heavens and praise His name.  Appreciate the rising and setting sun and admire God’s artistry, rainbows for promising a better day, and rain to bring new growth.
Don’t only put on your Go-goggles, but do as the last part of that verse says and get into His word so that you will learn His counsel.  Fall in love with Jesus.  Allow Him to guide you and your days.
His love fills the earth, and I pray that Jesus will fill your heart.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
