I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I finish my work. I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace. Acts 20:24 ERV
This little nugget of scripture is encompassed by encouragement and humility.
If you know Paul’s life, you know that he came from a pit of pompousness, religious zeal, and brutality. By the grace of God, he became a changed man with a heart for God. Paul’s selfless attitude, in verse 24, is admirable.
Y’all, a couple of things I pray for you is:
- No matter where you are in life…what pit you may be in…God is not giving up on you. Turn to Jesus and live a transformed life.
- Remember the most important work in life to do…share the Good News. May you be bold and full of love and grace when sharing Jesus with others.
