With my whole heart, with my whole life, and with my innermost being, I bow in wonder and love before you, the holy God! Yahweh, you are my soul’s celebration. How could I ever forget the miracles of kindness you’ve done for me? You kissed my heart with forgiveness, in spite of all I’ve done. You’ve healed me inside and out from every disease. Psalm 103:1-3 TPT
Lately I’ve been reading my morning scripture from The Passion Translation. When I read Psalm 103:1-3, I could just imagine myself at the feet of Jesus, being consumed with the Holy Spirit, and feeling the massive presence of God the Father. It felt like no one was around, just me and The Trinity.
“With my whole heart” reminds me that this life is not about me.  It’s not about doing what Stephanie wants to do, but what the Lord wants me to do. Each day isn’t meant for me to divvy out a portion of my existence to and for the Lord, but to daily hand Him my whole self. Friend, give your whole heart to The Creator and serve Him alone. “It’s Time for a Heart Check”
“You are my soul’s celebration”. These words emphasize that He is the reason for joy and delight. Throughout life we will have ups and downs, moments of joy and heartache. Life is like a wild roller coaster ride, hold on tight to Christ and let Him lead the way. Does your life often feel like you are on a roller coaster?
“You kissed my heart with forgiveness” oh my did these words give me a precious image of God’s love. “In spite of all I’ve done”…there needs to be an exclamation point after those words. !  Dear friend, do you need to hear this today? No matter what you’ve done, He will kiss your heart with forgiveness. Rest in that assurance and promise.
I pray that you will open God’s word, wherever you are physically or spiritually, and allow His breathed words to wash over you. His words are true. His promises are true. May the freshness of scripture refresh your soul and give you an assurance of love and life. Give the Lord your whole heart. Amen.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
