God is the original architect/designer/mathematician/etc. He laid out a plan, a set of blueprints, for the Israelites to follow to the tee. They were given detailed instructions for making a chest, dinnerware, a building, and much more. God even gave them a registry. OK, when you go to make a new recipe you should make sure you have all the ingredients and follow the directions or you just may find your dish to be not so tasteful and pleasing or your cake crumbling down. Let’s say you are building a tree house. You must design a structure that will not fall and will fit the specific tree you are building it on. Then you make a list and head to your local hardware store to prepare for constructing. If you didn’t prepare and follow a guide, the assembly may not be so safe. Here’s another thing, weddings, babies, birthdays, etc. people register at places so they can get exactly what they want. A wish list is created. God made a registry telling them His wish list. All items were going to be used for a purpose. You know what? God just didn’t have a plan for the Israelites, He has a plan for you too. The plan He has for you is perfect. Take a lesson from Psalms 20:7-8 where it says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.” Trust God with your whole life and discover His design for you to be strong and you will be able to rise above the trials in life.
