“Lord, you are my God. Lord, listen to my prayer.” Psalm 140:6
When I read this I just had to stop and think…. “It’s funny how we want God to listen to our prayers, but how many times does He really want to say to us, ‘Hey, child of mine, listen to Me.’”
That’s it! That’s my journaling for today.
This morning when I read all kinds of scripture, nothing just hit me. I went to work, ran errands, attended a Christmas party, and then came home to sit down in my study chair. Before I started reading, again, I said, “Lord, please speak to me and through me.” The very first, VERY FIRST, verse that I read it was like a light bulb went off in my head and God said, “Hey, me listen to you? All the time! You listen to me? Hmmmmm.”
This is a thought for us all to ponder.
Listen to God.
