Do you want to be strong, productive, and successful?  Psalms 1:1-6 says, “Great blessings belong to those who don’t listen to evil advice, who don’t live like sinners, and who don’t join those who make fun of God. 2 Instead, they love the Lord’S teachings and think about them day and night. 3 So they grow strong, like a tree planted by a stream— a tree that produces fruit when it should and has leaves that never fall. Everything they do is successful.”
So…

  • Stay away from bad advice.  Seek godly counsel.  (Proverbs 12:15, “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.”)
  • Don’t live your life in sin.  Be free from it.  (Romans 6:18, “You were made free from sin, and now you are slaves to what is right.”)
  • Keep away from those who make fun of God.  Stand up for Him. (1 Corinthians 16:13, “Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.”)

Verse six tell us that “The Lord shows his people how to live.”  He truly does.  God has given us the greatest instruction book ever.  The bible.  Use it.  Use it daily.
