Mark 6:47-48, “Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. 48 He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,”
When I read these verses I had to stop, reread them, and then like a puppy tilting its head said, “Hmmm”.
Here you have the disciples having a difficult time. The wind was powerful and against them, and causing them to strain while rowing. Who seems to have no trouble at all walking by, rough waters and all? Jesus!
Isn’t that much like our situations today? There are times that we feel like the “world” is against us and life is plain ole hard. But for Jesus, it’s just a walk in the park.
Just remember that… When life gets hard, and it will, it’s no big deal for God. Call out to Him. Believe He’s got this.
You just may discover that your faith will increase when you learn to totally rely on God.
Blessings to you.
