Have you ever tried to crack a rock open to see what it was like inside?  Well, this inquisitive country girl has.  I discovered….more rock.  Interesting to the eye, with all its designs and possible colors, but it was still just a rock.
If I was thirsty and wanted some water, a rock would not be the first place, or the last, I’d go looking for to quench my thirst.  “I” wouldn’t get a drip of water from a rock.
But…do you know who can?  Yes!  There really is someone who could.  The show Ripley’s Believe it or Not would be amazed.  There is a man who can make the impossible possible.  In Psalm 78:15 it says, “He split the rocks in the desert and gave them an ocean of fresh water.”
Not only did God split a rock, but it was from the desert, AND it was more than enough to quench one’s thirst.  It was “as abundant as the seas” (NIV).  That’s a lot of water.  That’s the type of God that I serve.
Luke 1:27 says, “For nothing is impossible with God.We may not be able to accomplish many tasks in our lives, but if God is willing, and it is in His plan, He can do anything.
Allow God to do the impossible.  Be prepared for more than a little blessing, but an abundance of blessings. John 10:10 reads this way, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”   See…God wants you to have abundantly!  That’s the type of God that I serve.
Blessings and God’s abundant love to all!
