He’s done gone and done it again! I am so grateful that I serve the God who knows my ever need, will pick me up when I and down, will kick my butt when I need reminding that He is in control, and when I need to step back, breathe, and count my blessings.
Yep. God did that this morning with some verses in Psalms. Read these and believe them:
- This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
- (Amen! I choose to rejoice and be glad. The alternative brings me down.)
- Please, Lord, please save us. Please, Lord, please give us success. Psalm 118:25
- (Yes sir. Many of us feel the need to cry this out to God. Then do it and know that He will.)
- The Lord is God, shining upon us. Psalm 118:27a
- (That just warms my soul and challenges me as well. He is shining in and through us, we just sometimes may need to turn the dimmer switch up a bit.)
- You are my God, and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 118:27-28
- (A shout out to God! Yes! Amen! Thank You!)
And then, as I was journaling, God nudged me and guided me to read Philippians 2:1. Again, God brought me to the place where I needed to be. This verse says,
- “Think about what we have in Christ: the encouragement He has brought us, the comfort of His love, our sharing in His Spirit, and the mercy and kindness He has shown us…enjoy these blessings.
I feel like God gave me a dose of good medicine. He is the great physician. Do you need to partake in this remedy as well? Enjoy.
Blessings and God’s abundant love to y’all.
