I put this picture on here just because it takes me to a peaceful place. 🙂

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.Leviticus 19:18
Ok, God.  You got me!
After a conversation last night before bed, I woke up feeling a little bitterness towards a couple of people.  Why?  Because I was allowing their attitudes determine my mindset.  I woke up this morning early praying for my attitude towards them and their attitude as well.
When I went to wake one of these culprits this morning, the tone in their voice STILL gave me the heebygeebies.   (Are you getting that these lovelies are a couple of “my own people”?)  I took a deep breath, and kind of chalked it up to “early-morning-not-wanting-to-wake-up-tone”, even though my heart was telling me otherwise.
Well, when I went to click on my morning biblegateway.com  to read the verse for the day, I could soooo picture God putting this verse in front of me, just for me, all the while tilting His head with a grin looking at me.
Ok, God.  You got me!
I will not seek revenge or bear a grudge against “my own people”.  I will love them no matter what.  Why?  Because God told me to.
NOT seeking revenge or bearing a grudge is often hard to do, and sometimes not as fun as I imagine in my mind, but when I think about what God instructs me to do, I get a little grin on my face as well, and know that everything will work out to His plan if I just stick with His instruction.
I keep telling myself, “Ok, God.  You got me!”  Somehow this calms me and puts things in perspective.
Fiddlesticks, He’s gone and done it again…showing me the right thing to do when I want to do otherwise.  (Thanks, God, for keeping me straight,)
I pray God’s abundant love and blessings for y’all.
