My husband often shakes his head at me and says, “You really think everything happens for a reason?”
This is a question that rings in my mind, and I am always searching for the truth to it, but for the most part…Yes, I do believe everything happens for a reason.
You’ll listen the Motivational Monday video and hear me give a simple, non-threatening example of an event that occurred this weekend.  Yet, even through the most difficult and traumatic situations in my life, I can look back and see evidence of God’s hand for His glory somehow.
Life doesn’t always go the way we think it should.  We have questions and more questions as to why things happen.  I’d like to encourage you that through it all, wherever you are in the process of life, whatever trial you may be facing, hold on to Jesus, dive into His word, and like I’ve often said to myself and others, “put your big girl/boy pants on and deal with it.” Deal with it with the anticipation to seeing God’s glory in the end.
We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Sometimes we may see how the dots in our life are connected, and sometimes we just have to wait until we see Jesus face to face.  Remember, His ways are not our ways…and His ways are much better.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
Motivational Monday:

I don’t want not sound dispassionate or not sensitive to any situation in your life.  Please don’t think that at all! I just want to encourage you to do as Colossians 3:2 says, “Think about the things of heaven not the things of earth.” Have a positive perspective and wait to see what God has in store for you.
I’d love to hear from you regarding this question, “Does everything happen for a reason?” Also, I’ve posted a few links below for you to dive into.  If you have one to share with me, please feel free to share with all.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie

My results. I think that if I would have taken this earlier in life, the results may have been a little different because the way I answered some of the questions applied to the stage of life I’m in now. If you’ve taken this before, take it again and see if you are the same.
