Okay, in yesterday’s Motivational Monday video I mentioned that I would share with you all the places we ventured of to while exploring the wonderful city of Savannah, Georgia. So…here you go:

Palm Valley Fish Camp https://palmvalleyfishcamp.com/ (Not in Savannah, but on our way.  Delicious!)
Gallery Espresso https://www.galleryespresso.com/ (Cool vibe.  Coffee, tea, pastries, and more)
Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront https://www.kesslercollection.com/bohemian-savannah/ (roof top view)

The Distillery (Just a place to stop and try an appetizer and refreshing drink after the city trolley tour. Neat history. Sweet waitress.)
Tubby’s River Street. https://tubbysseafood.com/ (Okay.  Nice views on the river.)
HITCH http://www.treylorparkhitch.com/ (Yummy!  The owner was nice too. I had apple pie fried chicken sandwich. Whoa.)
Belford’s Seafood and Steaks http://www.belfordssavannah.com/ (Yes! Tender aged steaks. Great crab cakes.)
A-J\’s Dockside Restaurant http://ajsdocksidetybee.com/ (A stop while on Tybee.  On the water.)
The Original Crab Shack https://app.thecrabshack.com/ (Cool place to eat. We need to go back for the low country boil.  It looked fabulous! Huge location. On the water. Tybee)
Olde Pink House https://www.plantersinnsavannah.com/olde-pink-house-restaurant (We ate in the basement.  The live music was awesome. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was cozy.)
funky-brunch http://www.thefunkybrunchcafe.com/ (We REALLY wanted to go to Mrs. Wilkes, but it isn’t open on Sundays.  This place serves HUGE portions. Close to our AirBnB. Delicious. Fresh OJ.)
Jazz’d Tapas Bar and Restaurant https://jazzdtapasbar.com/ (Cool vibe. Live jazz.  Not very crowded.)
Leopold’s Ice Cream https://www.leopoldsicecream.com/ (Hmmmm…yes. You must visit)
Abe’s on Lincoln http://abesonlincoln.com/ (Right by our AirBnB. Quaint place. Napkins hang everywhere where customers drew Abe Lincoln. So definite talent…and some not. LOL)
LuLu’s Chocolate Bar http://www.luluschocolatebar.com/ (We walked in for some scrumptious chocolate covered strawberries.)
Sunrise Restaurant on Tybee Island http://www.sunrisesavannah.com/ (We originally were going to the Breakfast Club on Tybee, but the line was way out the door.  This “greasy spoon” was still crowded and the food was good. Decor’ could be updated.)
The Shops at Tybee Oaks https://www.tybeevacationrentals.com/blog/local-tips-tidbits/shops-tybee-oaks (I bought some photos here.  They were half the price of some in the Savannah shops.)
PT’s Tavern https://www.pstavernsav.com/ (This is where we watched the gator game.  Go Gators! I understand the owner is a gator.  Don’t quote me on it thought. Fun! I had a slice of their made-in-house pizzas.  It was sooo good!)

If you’ve never been to Savannah, put it on your bucket list.  This city is full of history, beauty, life, and romance. The weekend we chose to go to celebrate our anniversary just happened to be OctoberFest as well.  They had tent vendors, food tents, and live music in the park and along River Street. The movie, Lady and the Tramp, was being filmed.  Also, when we went to Tybee Island (about a 25 minute drive from downtown Savannah), they had Pirate Fest going on. So much to see, so much to eat, so much to do!
Our AirBnB was perfectly located at 34 Habersham Street.  Our car was able to remain in it’s parked location while we walked the city, except for when we drove to Tybee of course.  Let’s just say that we easily achieved over 10,000 steps daily. I sure needed those steps too due to all the delicious food I enjoyed.
Many friends gave suggestions as to places to go (see photo of handwritten notes), and we sure tried to hit all, but time was limited.  I guess there’s a reason to go back now.
There were lots of bride-to-be groups partying the streets of Savannah.  The Savannah College of Arts and Design (SCAD) appeared to be scattered throughout ALL of Savannah.  They have renovated a plethora of buildings and now house classes, restaurants, and housing within the newly remodeled structures, yet keep the old charm of the south.  Families, couples, and girls trips and guy getaways populated this historical city.
Tim and I were grateful to enjoy our weekend with dear friends, Dave and Theresa, who were celebrating their 27th year in marriage too.  It’s wonderful to travel with friends who join you in prayer before meals, and are easy to get along with. We are blessed.

I just wanted to share with you some places to visit when you go to Savannah.  I know you’ll have this on your list.
