I began and ended my daylight hours on the beach.
This morning included a vigorous walk with tennis shoes.  This evening consisted of a beach chair and the sand between my toes.
On both occasions God was speaking to me.
I’m sitting here now (8:30pm), admiring God’s glorious artistry and my eyes are welling up with tears, as I am humbled to be chosen by Him and grateful to be able to enjoy His majestic work.
It is my prayer that He will use me to shine bright like the sun for Him. I desire to know Him more and grow closer to Him each day.
Looking out at the people scattered along the coast, I sense joy as friends and family gather to see the sunset.  I sense heartache as there may be someone wishing their loved one was with them for one last time yet being comforted in the scenery.  I sense laughter as kids play ball, look for shells, and build sandcastles with their parents and grandparents.  I sense peace as the breeze blows and the sea oats wave goodnight. I sense love when I see couples and families capture their moments on camera.  I sense GOD!  He is all around.
Dear Jesus, do others sense you? Oh, how I pray they do!
God is so rewarding, fulfilling, and captivating!  Are you in awe of Him?
Praying blessings for you and yours,
Stephanie

Here’s the little family of three in the background.

Side note…Y’all, the sun has set, the half moon is above me, the sky is becoming dark, yet I am still here!  (9:00pm.)  This precious family just came out to capture the beautiful sky.  When they walked passed me, I overheard the little boy say, “Look at the water!”  He was in awe!  Of course, I informed them that if they want me to take a photo of them I can.  They obliged, and I rose to the task.  I ponder if they just arrived and wanted to capture the beach on their first day here, or if one of them has sensitivity to the sun.  No matter the reason for their tardiness to sunset, they were joyful and so precious.
(I found out that the parents were just trying to release energy from their child before bedtime. LOL!)
