It was early in the morning, on the day after Christmas. I walked our new puppy, Maui, outside, noticed a mystical atmosphere in front of me as the fog hovered over the pasture, and then looked up. There was a single star shining bright through the mistiness in the air. Suddenly, when I noticed the star, I was reminded how we need to seek Christ not just at Christmas time, but daily. We need to seek His guidance always. We need to have joy through all circumstances because of the King of kings, Lord of lords.
…And the star they had seen in the east guided them to Bethlehem…When they saw the star, they were filled with joy! Matthew 2:9b-10
I pray you have a day…a life…filled with seeking Jesus Christ and feeling joy that can only come from knowing Him.
