When Jesus went to the temple courts, “The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.”(John 8: 3-4)
In verse11 we read where Jesus said, “Go now and leave your life of sin.”
Notice that He didn’t say, “Go now and sin again so that you can come to me and ask forgiveness again for this wrong doing.” NO! He said to “leave your life of sin.”
That is what we are to do. When we make a mistake, and we will, we are to learn from it, repent, and turn our ways to God.
Go! Leave your life of sin.
