“You grew weary in your search,
but you never gave up.
Desire gave you renewed strength,
and you did not grow weary.”
Isaiah 57:10
Even though The Lord was talking to the idolatrous people here, I believe we can use these words for the good of those who are Christians.  Let’s pertain this to our lives that are searching for more of God and His will.  Don’t give up when you have those seasons of tiredness, loneliness, and you may feel as if God is far away.  He is always near you and ready to give you strength.
May your desire to want more of Him and to know His will for you renew your strength to be godly each day of your life.  God will give you the desires of your heart and He will renew your strength.  Just turn to Him for everything.  Enjoy striving to be more like Christ.

  • Psalms 37:4, Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart.”
  • Psalms 20:4, “May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.”
  • Isaiah 40:28-31, Do you not know?  Have you not heard?  The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.  He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.  He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.  Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
  • 1 Chronicles 16:11, “Look to the Lord and his strength;
    seek his face always.”
  • Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
  • Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

It appears to me that for the past month God has been reiterating to me through His word that there will be times of weakness and growing tired.  But He is the source of our strength.  He is my strength!  Is He yours too?
Blessings to you!
