Psalm 119:73-77, “You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow Your commands.May all who fear You find in me a cause for joy, for I have put my hope in your word.  I know, O Lord, that your regulations are fair; you disciplined me because I needed it. Now let your unfailing love comfort me, just as you promised me, your servant. Surround me with your tender mercies so I may live, for your instructions are my delight.”
This is my prayer that when others see me that they see God in my life and the joy that He gives me.  May this bring joy to them and may they desire to want that kind of joy.  A joy in knowing that I have hope.  A hope that is only found in God.
When I reread the words “Now give me the sense to follow Your commands.” I have to shake my head and grin in agreement and think about the blunt availability God has given to us (at least in my country) to know and understand His words, but how often I am senseless with the knowledge He’s given to me.  “Lord, give me the good-sense to follow the commands You so easily give to me.  Help me to share your love and words with others.”
“Lord, when I do wrong, You correct me as a Father should.  Thank You for Your discipline and unfailing love.  Amen.”
“Lord, do as mentioned in Your Word and surround me with your tender mercies.  I find pleasure and great satisfaction in Your teachings.  Amen.”
Will this be your prayer today also?
Blessings to you.
