Have you ever heard that there was a great sale going on on something you were intrigued by or a concert you have been wanting to see? You thought about it for so long that when you went to go get it, it was either too late or sold out. You missed it! You were bummed that you missed out on that opportunity.
That simple scenario has happened to me before. But the item to be purchased or the event to be scene was not a “life or death” situation.
There is an event that is taking place one day that you don’t want to miss out on securing your place.
When I read Mark 15:38-39, the Roman’s officer’s response made me think; “I hope this doesn’t happen to people when Jesus comes back again. I wonder how many people will say, ‘This whole Jesus thing was real! I wish I would have accepted Him as my Savior.’”
Here’s what those verses say:
- When Jesus died, the curtain in the Temple was torn into two pieces. The tear started at the top and tore all the way to the bottom. 39 The army officer who was standing there in front of the cross saw what happened when Jesus died. The officer said, “This man really was the Son of God!”
Please don’t wait until it’s too late and say, ““This man really was the Son of God, and the only way to Heaven really was to believe and ask Him into my heart!” Do it today! Please check out the tab at the top of this website titled, “Want to become a Christian?”
