“The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him.” 2 Chronicles 16:9
I think I’d be the one jumping up and down, waving my arms, and yelling, “Me! Me, Lord! Strengthen me!”
Not that my heart is fully committed to Him. It should be. But I fail. I do disappoint God. I believe my heart desires Him, but my human mind gets in the way at times. Thank Him that He is a forgiving, patient, merciful, and gracious God.
One of my pastors, and dear friend, Tommy, says that he can imagine God holding the world in His hands and turning it to and fro seeking for the faithful.
Oh how I desire for Him to notice me.
What about you? Do you need some super-sized strength that only comes from God? Then turn to Him and commit your life to Him.
Maybe God will pause the world that He holds in His hands to smile down on me to trying to be fully committed to Him.
I do fell His strength, holding me up when I’m weak. I think I see God smiling.
