The other day we were at the beach. (Shocker, I know, but true.) The water was crystal clear and looked so refreshing. People were in the Atlantic and lying all around on their towels and in their chairs. Music playing, children laughing, and conversations were surrounding each umbrella. With water in tow, we were ready to go.Then, that’s when it happened. Eew, ouch, yowzer!! If you weren’t in the water, your feet were getting scorched. I even had my flip flops on, and just the sand that was getting slung onto my feet was sweltering. Beach-goers were running, no sprinting, to the water to feel relief.
Holly and I had made it to the truly refreshing water and were enjoying the scenes on the beach and coolness of the water. I told her, “If people think that the sand is hot, imagine what Hell will be like for anyone who goes. This water is like Heaven. We run to it to get refreshed and saved from the scorching.”
True? Yep!
