what to do with my lifeOur hearts can be inundated with heaviness. Our minds can be rushed with the busyness of life.  We may be searching for answers to the many questions we have about various situations.  You may even be questioning now what you are supposed to be doing with your life.  When we are in these moments, we feel like we are in dark times.  All these thoughts and feelings can consume a lot of time and energy, and can even cause health issues.  Wouldn’t it be comforting to know a few things to help alleviate these times of “ughness”?
I ran into a lady this week that I could tell by the look on her face that she was already having “a day”, and the day was only just beginning. I stopped her, gave her a hug, and asked her how she was.  She proceeded to tell me that she was questioning her path in life and wanted me to pray for her.  She wants to know what God is calling her to do.  Don’t we all?
Here is some information I would like to share with you:

  • You have been prayed for this morning. Jesus and I chatted about you today.
  • God has given His children hope. Not just any ole hope, a confident hope in Him.
  • I prayed like Paul did many years ago that you will understand that hope. That you will be sensitive in understanding Him and the plans He has for you.
  • We need to keep our eyes focused on Jesus Christ.
  • We need to take hold of the amazing and glorious life that God has for us.
  • God is working in you right now. He will reveal Himself to you.
  • Get on your knees and pray to, seek, and desire Him. He will never let you down.

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope He has given to those He called—His holy people who are His rich and glorious inheritance.” Ephesians 1:18 NLT
“I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing Him personally; your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is He is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life He has for His followers.”  Ephesians 1:18 MSG
Go be confident in Him and what He has sketched for you.  He is an amazing artist (the BEST!), and you are His masterpiece.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.”  Proverbs 19:21
I pray God’s abundant love and much joy for y’all.
