just becauseOh, dear friends, how precious it is to know that just because Easter Sunday has come and gone, The Message is still true.
Just because you’ve already worn your Easter best, possibly enjoyed a feast with your family and friends, showed up to church, and smiled for your Easter picture (well, unless you were my kids) doesn’t mean that we have to stop sharing the Good News.
Just because that “Sunday’s a comin’” saying has come and gone, doesn’t mean that it’s all over and we go back to our everyday life.
Just because we’ve heard the amazing and true story of how Jesus died for you and me and then rose again, doesn’t mean that we don’t have to be reminded of this truth.
This morning’s verse for the day came from 1 Corinthians 15:3-4:

“I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.”

I’m thinking that just because He lives we need to live it, share it, and be reminded of His amazing love daily.
I pray many blessings and much joy for you! Have a wonderful day. – Stephanie
Oh, this just made me think of the old hymn we used to sing, and still do, “Because He Lives”:

God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus; He came to love, heal and forgive; He lived and died to buy my pardon, An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives! Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives!

How sweet to hold a newborn baby, And feel the pride and joy he gives; But greater still the calm assurance: This child can face uncertain days because He Lives! Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives!

And then one day, I’ll cross the river, I’ll fight life’s final war with pain; And then, as death gives way to victory, I’ll see the lights of glory and I’ll know He lives! Because He lives, I can face tomorrow, Because He lives, all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living, Just because He lives!
