God said, “My presence will go with you. I’ll see the journey to the end.” Moses said, “If your presence doesn’t take the lead here, call this trip off right now.” Exodus 33:14-15
Amen! I have discovered in life that if God’s not going there, I don’t want to go. Like “The Message” translations reads, “…call this trip off right now.”
Too many times I’ve thought that I’d take one path in my life, all to realize that “Ummm, what am I doing here?” Take note of all the “I”s in the previous sentence. Pretty selfish, huh? Yes sirree.
I want to encourage you that before you:
- Take that job
- Graduate
- Choose a college
- Date
- Get married
- Move
- Go on a vacation
- Or just START YOUR DAY
Pray it up. Have a little chat with God and make sure your next step is where He wants you to go. If it’s not where God wants you to go, “call it off right now”.
