morning sunAs we have now reached our final day of 2015, we often take some time to reflect. You may simply ponder on the events that occurred in your life and smile and count your blessings. Some folks may scrutinize over situations they’ve encompassed in 2015 and begin to mentally put yourself through a struggle that you don’t want to revisit. Others may winnow at certain conditions and wonder, “How am I ever going to make it through this year?”
Whatever your self-examination magnifies for you, grasp the comforting words from the All-Powerful, Almighty, Ever-True and Everlasting Father:
“I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea…But forget all that; it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.  For I am about to do something new.  See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness.  I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” Isaiah 43:16. 18-19
Can I get an “Amen!” or a “Thank You, Jesus!”?
God is about to do something new in your life.
Okay, so you’ve had a few difficulties mentally, physically, and/or spiritually this past year, but I know that I serve a God who can and will make things new for you. Trust in Him.
Maybe you’ve had “the best year ever”, then you must give God all the glory and reminisce to make sure that you were wise with those treasures that He provided for you.
So, go ahead and give 2015 a quick review, but don’t ponder there too long because God is opening new doors for you in 2016. Believe in Him, trust God with all your heart, have faith, turn to the Lord for guidance, and smile and take comfort in knowing that when you hold on to the hand of God, you can make it through anything!

“I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand. And I tell you, ‘Don’t be afraid!  I will help you.’” Isaiah 41:13
