When my youngest son gets ahold of the camera he, for some reason, likes to take SUPER CLOSE UP face photos. This is his latest of me. Bless him. Yes, I look like a granny. LOL

Here’s my quick thought…People judge. It’s what we do. We may not intend to evaluate others, but this trait has a way a creeping up in our psyche.
God judges. That is what He does. He has every intention though of doing so.
We judge differently than God. Yikes! Why do we? Because we look on the surface, and God looks deeply into the heart of man.
From my recollection of all the examples in the bible and my own personal experiences, any time we do something differently than God, well…it is not a good thing.
So, why don’t we leave the judging to God and we learn to respect and appreciate the differences in others. If we find ourselves judging (are you judging me now? *wink*) let’s make sure we prayerfully see others with the intent of God and see their heart.
Okay, so that was a quick thought for today. This topic can take on a mind of its own and have various facets to discuss, but let’s just keep it simple for now and, well…smile. Ha! Here’s another thought…have you ever heard the saying “Smile, it makes people wonder what you’re up to”? If they are going to judge you, then let them see a smile on your face.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1 Samuel 16:7 NIV
