Yesterday my pastor (Dr. Brian Stowe) preached on The Armor of God. After reading Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” he stated, “Our enemy is powerful, but not ALL-powerful.”
True!
You’ve often heard, “The struggle is real”. Well, the enemy is REAL! Ugh! That’s a struggle. Brother Brian also mentioned that our enemy is relentless and he won’t give up.
Christians, demons cannot possess you, but they will try their hardest to and can oppress you.
Can I share with you Who is ALL-powerful? Well, I am anyhow…God!
Here are just a few verses to remind you that we have a mighty God, and that NOTHING is impossible with Him:
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Ephesians 6:10
How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! Psalm 147:5
Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for Me?” Jeremiah 32:27
For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
But God made the earth by his power; He founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding. Jeremiah 10:12
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrew 1:3
