After paying attention to the words of the country music song, Take a Drunk Girl Home, I was like, “Yes!”. I knew that one day I’d include in in a devotional.  It wasn’t until Tim and I attended the Chris Janson concert at The Florida Strawberry Festival, that I knew now was the time.

Chris Janson has to be one of the, if not THE, happiest entertainer I’ve seen.

In this video you hear the three things Chris Janson wants you to know about him, a handful of great scripture, and a reminder on how we should be:

Even as I type now, my mind races with so many words I could share on this topic.   There are a variety of avenues we could discuss regarding this song. I debated as to whether I’d share this video or make a shorter version, but after much prayer and an encouraging word from my brother Mike, I left it as is.
I hope you will remember to be a lovely lady of God or a man of God, be respectful and considerate of others.
Have a beautiful day.
Blessings to you and yours,
Stephanie
(The top photo has nothing to do with this post except for the fact that I LOVE MY DAUGHTER.  We are enjoying time together in St. Augustine eating, shopping, and surfing…she’s surfing, not me.)
I could soooo continue this by saying:

  • don’t get drunk
  • know your worth
  • respect yourself and others
  • Don’t take advantage of others
  • you are priceless!
  • Be a man!
  • Be a lady!

Below is the video of Chris saying what is important to him.  The first one is the most important:
