Are you enjoying God’s word as much as I am? Oh, I sure hope so.

I want to encourage you to keep you eyes, ears, and heart wide open for what God wants to teach you through His word and every day examples in life.

Take-aways from today:

  • Sounds very “religious” and not a relationship. Being a Christian/a child of God/a believer in Jesus Christ is all about a relationship.
  • You can know a lot about the Bible (Satan did), but still not have a real connection/application/emotion.
  • You can know a lot about a person, but until you spend quality time with them, conversing and engaging with them, you only have HEAD knowledge, not HEART knowledge.
  • Don’t just talk the talk, but walk the walk.
  • Like I’ve said many times, “You may be the only bible someone reads.” Try to be like Christ.
  • Don’t be hypocritical.
  • ”External religion without internal conversion has absolutely no value to God.” Dr. Tony Evans
  • A person with a changed heart seeks praise from God, not from people.

Now do you think I am trying to make people accept me? No, God is the one I am trying to please. Am I trying to please people? If I wanted to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. Galatians 1:10 ERV

but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not intending to please people, but to please God, who examines our hearts. 1 Thessalonians 2:4 NASB

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, Colossians 3:23 NIV

Blessings to you and yours,

Stephanie
