I love how God works.
Recently, Holly mentioned how she wants to start studying the book of Ruth. About a week later, I found out that Ruth is going to be the topic of conversation at a bible study that I attend. When I informed Holly, I invited her. She wasn’t too keen on going with a bunch of “older ladies”. Well, it is during the lunchtime hour and she does have studying to do for her masters, so I guess I’ll forgive her for calling me old. We agree that we will be studying Ruth on our own, then discussing it as we go along.
This week was the first day of my bible study. I love how our facilitator, Brian Morgan, who is a local missionary with seeJesus Ministries , presents each time we gather to talk about Jesus. He makes the bible so relatable, and always poses insightful questions. Listening to all the input from the ladies and Brian, I walk away from those Thursday classes refreshed, challenged, and ready to share my faith even more.
I am excited to gain insight and knowledge through studying Ruth, and thrilled to pieces to have conversations with my girl about it all.
I want to encourage you to be ready to hear a fresh word from the Lord, study your bible, talk about what you are learning, and live a life that brings glory to God.
