People watching. I love watching people at airports. Sometimes to pass the time, I’ll create a story in my mind about where those who pass me by come from or where they’re going. By the time they have gotten out of my eyeshot they have quite an interesting life, in my mind.
Well, I can’t see all or know all. I just observe for a moment and create a fictitious life for them. But I do know The One who can see and know all. God. Psalms 33:14-15 says, “¹⁴ from His dwelling place He watches all who live on earth— ¹⁵ He who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do.”
When I was growing up I remember my mom telling me that “God is watching you.” I tell my kids (and remind myself) that also. Wherever you go and whatever you do, God is watching. So bring glory and honor to Him.
Remember the Michael Jackson lyrics, “I always feel like somebody’s watching me.”? Well, Someone is….God is.  So behave. He is not just observing for a moment and creating a fictitious life for you, He is constantly keeping an eye on you and considering everything you do.
Lord, help me to remain conscious of Your presence. I know I fail you daily with choices I make.  I am so sorry!  Forgive me and guide me in the right direction. Assist me in making decisions that are pleasing to You. Thank You for watching over and protecting me.  I love You, Lord. Amen.
