Nope. This is not Holly, but doesn't this picture make you wonder what Cole is up to? :0)

A smile makes people happy. Good news makes them feel better.”  Proverbs 15:30.
I had to giggle when I read this verse this morning.  I have just had the conversation with my family this week about smiling.  The other day, Holly and I were at the hair salon.  When I was getting my hair done, I looked over towards her and she looked sad or bored.  No biggy. She was just reading a magazine and waiting on me to finish getting my hair trimmed. But I texted her, “Smile more.” So what did she do? She started smiling more.  She was smiling while reading, smiling while looking up at me, and smiling at each person as they walked by. Every time I would look her way, I just started laughing because of her smile.  My hair dresser, Toni, would laugh too. I sent her another text that said, “See…smiling is contagious.”
When someone would walk by, Holly would look up and smile at them.  But not just smile at them, she would follow them with her head while flashing a huge smile their way.  Toni and I would crack up.  Holly looked like a little creeper.  I sent her another text that said, “When you smile, it makes people wonder what you’re up to.”  In Holly’s case, it might have made her passer-byers what to run for the hills.
Like the verse says, “A smile makes people happy.”  Yes! Holly’s smile did make me happy.  She made me laugh too.
The Message translation says, “A twinkle in the eye means joy in the heart, and good news makes you feel fit as a fiddle.
Do you have joy in your heart? Even just a little joy? Well, show it! It won’t only put a twinkle in your eye, but in someone else’s too.
Happy Saturday!
