Have you ever wanted to be in a club, fraternity/sorority, or any organization, but you had to follow some rules in order to be a member or to stay in the club?  Here are some guidelines in Psalm 15 that need to posted on every wall for everyday life:  Psalm 15:  “God, who gets invited to dinner at your place? How do we get on your guest list? ‘Walk straight, act right, tell the truth. Don’t hurt your friend, don’t blame your neighbor; despise the despicable. Keep your word even when it costs you, make an honest living, never take a bribe. You’ll never get blacklisted if you live like this.’”  When I see the word blacklisted I think about an ultra-Hollywood/celebrity party or some hoop-te-do political affair where if you try to get in, and you were once a part of the “in” group but did them wrong (maybe you didn’t ‘follow their rules’), they tell you at the door that you’re not on the list. You’ve been “blacklisted”. Ouch. That’s humiliating.  Well, don’t get humiliated when it comes time to going to Jesus’ party.  He wants everyone to come. Make sure you get on the list by following the rules, and most importantly remember…it’s not only about how good of a person you are, but have you accepted Christ into your heart. There’s only one way to get to the Heavenly Party and that is to ask Christ into your heart.  Do it today, get on “The List”. He won’t kick you out if you’ve done that.
