Meanies. There are mean people in this world, and at some point they may make you their target. I have so seen this in middle school and high school girls, and yes, even in my own life as well. Just remember to always praise Jesus. Don’t just turn to Him only during those frustrating times (for example, you only post godly things and scripture during your unpleasant situation on your Facebook or Twitter). But speak His praises and be unashamed of Him all the time, good or bad. Stand firm. Walk away. You will be blessed. Remember Psalm 9:9 “The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.”

Deceit. Have you ever misled someone or been hoodwinked by someone yourself?  What good comes out of it? Nothing.  Someone, if not you, will eventually get hurt. Just be honest!

In today’s reading it was like a sensory science lesson as Isaac was deceived. He used his senses for confirmation. His sight was going, so he listened to the voice. The voice didn’t sound like his first born son (Esau), so he tested his second born son (Jacob) out by feeling his hands. Ahh, familiar. He wanted to confirm more, so he smelled Jacob, and again…success.  I guess he thought two out of four ain’t bad. Wrong. He was still deceived.  Be sure when testing to see if things are true. Confirm it with God.

“Here comes the judge. Here come the judge.” A Sammy Davis, Jr. quote.  Well, The Judge is coming! Don’t trouble yourself with judging others, leave that to God. Psalm 9: 8 says, “He rules the world in righteousness and judges the peoples with equity.” “Here comes The Judge. Here comes The Judge!”
