Every Monday morning anyone who works at my school is invited to come to my classroom at 8:00 for T.I.P. (Teachers In Prayer). There have been seven gathered and there have been three that have joined together to start our week off as one in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20 Jesus says, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”  I am so grateful for our time together. I can see God smiling down on Tomlin, and know that He is there with us. Thank you, Jesus, for my workplace and my co-workers.

Have you thought about where you want to be buried or what type of funeral you will have when you leave this earth?  Yea, yea, I can be morbid in thought sometime, but I’m not alone. Heck, my in-laws have already purchased their tombstones and have them in place in Kentucky. Now, I haven’t gone that far, but I do have an idea on what I want or hope to happen.  I remember going to Mrs. Snapp’s funeral years ago and enjoying the sweetness. Enjoy a funeral? Yes.  There was praise music and great testimony throughout the entire service.  You could tell that it was not only a time of remembrance of her life, but of rejoicing. Please do that for me. If Jesus doesn’t come before I die, I hope that praise music and worshipping God will be taking place. I’ll be dancing in the streets of heaven with Jesus. So go ahead and do a little swaying for me here on earth. Don’t worry about digging up the earth for me, just scatter me in the ocean at sunset. I do love my sunsets. Why did I write this? I was reading Genesis 49 and 50 this morning about the death of Jacob and later of Joseph. They had a plan and shared it with others. So now you know mine.
