Turn your back on evil, work for the good and don’t quit. God loves this kind of thing, never turns away from His friends.” Psalm 37:27-28.
There are so many ways I can think to analogize this. But three scenes come to mind that have recently occurred in my home with my three precious, darling, non-perfect, drive-me-crazy, so much like me (poor things), … children whom I will always and forever love; I am reminded to continue to remind them about keeping your priorities right, doing the right thing, getting your work done, and never giving up because God “loves this kind of thing”. I am so grateful that all three are not only mine, but God’s, and God is theirs in their hearts. (Smile on face and in heart.)
Without revealing their troubles (desire to read for points, grades, and doing chores without being asked to do them three-four times,…LOL. Really the easy troubles in life.), I can just as easily turn those verses on myself with a very current situation. See, I’m in the process of taking two online classes. These are classes that must be on my teaching certificate. I am down to the last straw. Time is running out. I have procrastinated long enough. My attitude has not been pleasing, but now I can see the light and the importance of it all. I’m on a mission. I have about three weeks left to read about 70 articles and complete 30 assignments.  I must tell myself,  “Stephanie, work and do not quit. God’s is your friend. Turn to Him for perseverance and determination. He loves it when you accomplish your task.”
No matter what your situation is in life, whether it is life threatening or the simply daily tasks life throws your way, just remember that He is your friend and will see you through it. Do right. Don’t give up. His Will will be done.
