In the book of Numbers we read about the time God told Moses to send men out to scope out the land that He was giving to them, and they came back impressed with the land but scared saying, “We can’t go up against those giants! We are like grasshoppers compared to them!”
As I’m reading it reminds me about the numerous times we start to follow God’s plan and we psych ourselves out saying, “I can’t do it.” if it looks like such a bigger plan than what we expected. Be careful. Much like the Israelites were among their people, our complaining can be contagious.
“Phewy!” It’s God’s plan! He has so much instore for us. Trust Him. Follow His ways. Pray continuously for His will to be done and not yours.
Lord, help me to seek Your plans for me and not my own. Amen.
