God, it’s time for a break!”
I had to laugh when I read The Message translation of Psalms 69:13. Here we are in our last week of school before summer break. Can I get a “Woohoo!!”? Semester exams daily, kids are over school, teachers are over school, and two more days to go.
While each class is taking their exam I have the ambiance app playing sounds of the Pacific Ocean waves. The pictures of my family on my desk and on the bookshelf all were taken either on the beach or in the boat. My mind is already on a “break”. Ahhhhhh.
I love summertime. A break is here. Almost.
I hope that you can get renewed in your mind, body, and soul soon. I know my toes are already feeling the sand between them, and I will be listening to real ocean waves hit the sandy shore.
It’s time to soak up The Son in the sun.
