These are the waves my Holly learned to surf in this weekend for her 14th birthday. I'm sure I share her experience and pics with you soon. :0)

There is a theme going here in Psalms the past two days.  Read the following verses:
“My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long.” Psalms 71:8
“I will tell people how good you are. I will tell about all the times you saved me— too many times to count. I will tell about your greatness, my Lord GOD. I will talk only about you and your goodness.” Psalms 71:15 (ERV)
“All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.” Psalms 71: 15 NLT
Imagine the influence your words have.  We’ve talked before about the power of words, negative and positive.  Now we see that David declared to speak of God’s goodness all day long. He admitted that he was not skilled with words.  Many of us use that as our excuse to not speak up and share about God. We say that we don’t speak eloquently or know the right words to say.  Don’t worry about how to say it, just be positive and allow God to speak through you. He knows what to say. He’s got your back.
We hear enough negativity in the media. Some may hear it plenty in their school, work place, and/or home.  Be the change. Be the one who speaks uplifting words.
Strive for it. Think before you speak.  Try only to say kind words and speak of God’s goodness all day.  I bet it will make a difference in your life and in the lives of others.
Happy Monday!
