When my husband first got his iPhone with “Siri” on it we all had fun asking Siri all kinds of crazy questions or giving it commands.  One of the kids spoke into the phone and said, “Siri, tell me a story.”  So the electronic voice said, “It was a dark and stormy night.”  We all cracked up at the intelligent response from this “speech recognition phone application”.  We were not expecting Siri to really start telling us a story, especially a suspense story.
Such as life!  Life is full of the unexpected.  Some of those unexpected events do have their dark moments.  Praise God that He has the brightest flashlight EVER to guide us through those “dark and stormy” moments in life.  Seriously!  Here’s what Psalm 119:105 says, “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.” (“By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path.” The Message)
So when you find yourself in a suspenseful/thriller/dark time in your life, open up the bible.  God’s words will shine bright and help you guide your way.
Blessings to you.
