Who’s the wise guy?
I sure hope it’s you.
We often (or used to) hear the words wise guy associated with a smart aleck or someone in the mob.  But that’s NOT the wise guy/gal I’m talking about.
In Proverbs 8:10-11 we read, “Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.”  In this chapter “Lady Wisdom” is calling out to all.
We make choices each day, hour, minute, really second of our lives, and the choices we make not only affect us but others around us.
We need to be wise in the choices we make.
The characteristics of instruction and knowledge are more valuable than anything materialistic you would hope to gain from your decision.
In verse 5 of this chapter Lady Wisdom says, “You who are ignorant, learn to be wise.
You who are foolish, get some common sense.”
So learn it, get it, and use it.
Yes, we’ll make mistakes, but “learn” from them.  Get wisdom from your and others’ mistakes, and read the bible.  Use this knowledge to help you make wise decisions.
Be a wise guy/gal.
Blessings to you.
