Here are three great verses that I could plenty of examples on. But, God’s word just says it best.
Proverbs 10:9, “Honest people can always feel secure, but lying cheaters will be caught.” If you know you have not said nor done anything wrong when you are being accused of something, feel confident that God knows you are honest. You should feel secure in knowing you’ve done no wrong. If you did say or do anything wrong, then watch out…you will be found out.
Proverbs 10:10, “If you fail to speak the truth, trouble will follow. If you speak openly, peace will come.” For goodness sake, TELL THE TRUTH!
Proverbs 10:11, “The words of good people are like a spring of fresh water, but the words of the wicked only hide their violent plans.” Have you ever been around people who you just can feel refreshed by being with them? Their speech is kind and honest. It is refreshing and probably puts a smile on your face. I hope you are one of those who are invigorating for others.
